For a while, I couldn’t figure out why I feel slightly uncomfortable reading natural text in #emacs.

It was particular to natural text; code was just fine. I thought maybe it’s the variable pitch font, or density, or too much text on the screen, or something like that.

So I usually switched to light theme or opened the content in question in a browser.

And, as stupid as it may sound, the the problem seems to have been the white font color, which I figured out today almost by accident.

So I advised a bunch of functions in shr.el to set the default font color to blue.

Hmm, does that mean I can use EWW now…
